Information you provide

When you submit a quote, contact or career form, you provide contact details and information about your request or application. Quote forms ask for your name, phone, email, ZIP code, insurance interest and optional comments. Career forms ask for application details and a resume. The site also records the submission date and time, landing page, referral, source and campaign parameters, and any producer or QR identifier associated with the visit, plus whether you checked the optional SMS-consent box.

Do not provide Social Security numbers, driver license numbers, payment card details or detailed medical or underwriting information through these website forms.

How we use information

Burness uses form information to respond to inquiries, review applications, route leads to the team and document your communication choices. Website forms store submissions in the site’s private WordPress database and notify james@burnessinsurance.com. Authorized website administrators can view submissions. Service providers involved in hosting and delivering the website may process information to support these functions.

Text-message consent

Checking the SMS box is optional. It is unchecked by default, and you can submit a form without agreeing to text messages. Your choice and the submission time are recorded. The customer and applicant forms display their respective consent language before submission. You may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance; message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
